Purchased a golf cart online which was shipped with this carrier. On scheduled date of delivery I received an email requesting a $5600 insurance payment to complete delivery, cart was on hold until payment received. Sent payment via Zelle. Received subsequent email stating that company now needed $12,000 payment to rent a clearance certificate before delivery could be completed. I refused to pay and told them to send the cart back to the seller as I was refusing it. Requested a refund of the insurance payment. Company responded that this was not possible and that the shipment would be quarantined and considered abandoned. Company had assured me of a refund in earlier email. I think the online seller is scamming too. Fry’s Golf Carts. Texted them about the situation and requested refund of purchase price. No response.
