Same experience as others, email about qualifications, never spoken with anyone by phone, sent contact before interviewing.
I have applied to over 100 companies in the last 6 months for remote work, and they all had some type of interviewing process.
Gut feeling is that this is not legit.

What made me suspect was the W-9 form and I also called the building that they said that he was located in and the security guard said he couldn't find it so it raises red flags for me

I was told that I was picked from the job board Indeed from my resume for the position I had to sign this paper that they sent me print it out showing that I filled it out. After that I was told there was a 14 day trial. I had a phone interview with this person and I was told I will be getting a computer to start and I was asked if I  could start today at 9 am. I said yes after that she told me I will get an email from the person I have been talking to. They sent me a print out of a deposit slip and a W-9 form. I was told that I couldn't start the trial unless I sent them my bank information. I asked could I send it after the trial to make sure this job is legit; they didn't want me to start until I send them my information for my deposit and W9. I felt that was no reason to not to be able to start a job without that. I had someone help me research the company it shows that they just made the page a couple of days ago. and I also felt like if you were ready for me to start you would send me the computer that I needed first, they also told me that this is a new company. The 14 day trial is training and is remote and after that u could pick if u wanted to work in their office.
