My Name is Lupe and I found Ryan's Puppies House through and add on Montebello, CA internet classifieds. I was looking to either purchase or adopt a puppy. I sent a message to an add regarding purchasing a male Yorkie puppy a guy named Trevor replied to my inquiry with the phone number (330)227-8313. He told me he was in Arizona and I said I was located in Los Angeles, CA he said he can ship the puppy to me. I was a little confused about how that would work. Trevor said that the puppy cost $400 but for an additional $50.00 he can ship it to my house using a carrier service. I believed him it's coming from Arizona which is not that far. I was suppose to receive my puppy same day. Well he sent me a airway bill that said not activated until payment I wired Trevor $450.00 using Zelle from my bank account. The airway bill supposedly became active. A few minutes later I get a call from the shipping company Trevor used Internation Shippers to look at my e-mail. I get an e-mail requesting me to pay additional money for shots for the puppy and a crate rental fee. There were 3 plans offered $850 was the cheapest. Trevor never mentioned this to me I contacted Trevor immediately letting him know that I could not afford $850.00 more. He send me several texts saying he will contact Internation Shippers and then he text me back from another phone number that he claimed was his wife's phone. Then he asked me how much can I pay more that he would cover the balance that it would be reimbursable. When I said I can probably pay $300 I asked him how can I send the money well he provided me with the same e-mail that I previously send the $450.00 for the puppy purchase. Right there and then all the red flags came up. I asked Trevor why would Internation Shippers have the same e-mail and yours were I Zelle'd you the money? Are you Scamming me? Trevor tried to convince me that he was not a scam. But in fact I did get scammed he took my $450.00 and I never received my puppy. I red about puppy scammers after the fact and I learned to do research on sites that are trying to sell puppies.
