I found a Blue Russian kitten available for adoption on a Facebook page called "Russian Blue Kittens Beautiful". The seller is an admin of the group by the name "Angel Elaine Wayne". Her personal Facebook profile is "Angel Elaine Wayne (Tonya Mackewicz)". I sent Angel a message and she told me there was males and females available for $700 plus $150 shipping. Eventually Angel offered one to me for $350 with shipping included. I agreed to purchase the kitten and attempted to pay $350 to her husband's "Justin McConnell" Cashapp at $justinconnel" as she instructed. The payment was not processed because the account was flagged as a potential scam. Angel stated it was flagged due to her husband receiving so many payments and instructed me to send the money to a different name using Zelle. After that failed, she gave me 2 more names to try to send the money to. At that point I repeatedly insisted on some proof that she was actually shipping kittens to people and asked for screenshots of people claiming their kittens arrived safely or some shipping receipts. Angel then messaged Oguh Chidi and told her a customer was skeptical and wanted to verify she received her kitten yesterday. Oguh responded with a picture of a kitten and said she received it. Angel sent me that screenshot. I then messaged Oguh and asked if she received her kitten yesterday and she said yes. I then asked for a picture of the shipping crate or label so I could confirm and there was actually something shipped, and she refused to do so. I later learned that Oguh is the admin of another Russian Blue Facebook page called "Russian blue kittens Rescue". When I asked Angel again for proof of shipping, she sent me a picture of a receipt from Nashville Fly Cargo Logistics which has been reported as a fake shipping company used by pet scammers. During my conversation with Angel, she needed to switch to her sisters' phone, Marie Belinga (also an admin of the group). On Maries personal Facebook page she posted her own comments from what was supposed to be people claiming to have received their puppies. Angel kept reassuring me that she could be trusted and said "Do you think I was just made an admin for nothing" but she is also the founder of the group so of course she is an admin and would be the person to make someone an admin. Long story short, after repeated request she did not provide any proof that she has ever shipped a kitten or even a screenshot or comment on the page of anyone claiming they received a kitten, except for Oguh which is an admin for another kitten page that also refused to provide proof that a shipment occurred. Our conversations ended when I said she would need to do a video call and show me the kitten ready for shipment with my name on the postage label before I would attempt to make any payment.

I have the entire conversation and screenshot of the Cashapp failed payment attempt that I can provide if needed. I have not taken a financial loss, I just want to help protect others by reporting this and willing to assist in anyway necessary.
