They sent me the following email. I’ve been applying for lots of jobs, and sadly I sent the information they requested. I’m worried that they’re going to steal my money now :(

Dear Ellen,

We are pleased to have received your application, and we were impressed with your resume. We are interested in considering you for a position in our organization. However, before being selected for the desired position, you must pass our internal assessment to help us gain a better understanding of our employees. To facilitate this, we require the following documents to be sent to our email for examination:

A front and back image of your Identification Document:

Please ensure that all edges and corners of the document are visible, the photographs are of high quality, and the text is legible, without any blurring. The flash from the camera should not cover any information or face. Only photo format is accepted, and scanning is not allowed.

A selfie:

Your entire head must be visible, and it must not be turned to the side. Your eyes must look directly into the camera lens, and photo effects and headwear are not allowed.

The last four digits of your social security number

Please send these documents to [email protected].

Once we have satisfactorily verified and documented the information, you will receive a signing bonus that will include a memo for your first task, paid training, equipment purchase, and further instructions. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this email to enable us to proceed.

The Customer Service position requires you to work from home for at least five hours daily after receiving your first signing bonus. Once your supervisor contacts you, you will earn $30 per hour initially, and this will be increased to $40 per hour after a month. • Answer incoming client and creditor phone calls. Provide superior customer service at all times, including answering routine questions or complaints; forward to the appropriate department if necessary.

• Explain our programs knowledgeably and accurately to clients.

• Answer incoming client inquiry calls, including handling routine questions or complaints, or forwarding to the appropriate department, and noting client contact in the database.

• Contact clients to verify or update needed information.

• Maintain a courteous manner with clients at all times.
