I received 2 voicemails from a company that my phone blocked as possible spam. The message indicates that they are looking for me and to call them back prior to them moving forward. When you call the number a person answers saying corporate office. The person went on to indicate they are attempting to collect a debt from something that is approaching 10 years old. They have information on a debt that I have but I believe the debt has been settled. I asked to get information on the debt and was told my options are to pay a full settlement amount of half, set up recurring payments with them, or that I would be sued and they would garnish 25% of my wages. In asking for a website or for this to be sent to me in writing I was told I can settle this now or that I could just wait for my court order summons where I will also have to pay legal fees for them. I called back simply inquiring as to address or website and was again informed that they don't provide and that I can just await my summons. I am simply trying to verify if this is an actual business/debt o need to pay..
