I was initially contacted via text about an opportunity to display a Nesquik Product advertisement on a vehicle. $400/week, for 6 months. Upon responding to the person with my email the correspondence seemed legitimate. I was considering doing this for my daughter as a means for extra income. Her information was never divulged. Roughly 2 weeks later I received an envelope from Kernsville, NC (different than the check or the letter in the envelope). Once I evaluated all of the information I became suspicious and did some further investigation and learned about the scheme of sending a check which if the recipient deposits can lead to bank fraud. I emailed the person initiating the contact that I would not participate and that this was being reported to the BB for potential fraud scheme.
