The scammer approached me through direct messaging on Instagram. The stated they had an Ambassador opportunity for me as an influencer on Instagram. They gave me two options to choose, where i could get a product at a discounted rate. I selected a dress, normally priced $76.00, i paid $36.50. I then got a link to put up on my page for other people to click on and get a discount 9n products, and i would earn a commission. However, i made this purchase on March 12, 2023 and the order status still shows "order placed ". When i followed up with the support email, no response. When i tried again, i got a mail undeliverable notification email for that email address. I have reached out to my credit card and filed fraud services with this merchant, so i have received my money refunded to me by my credit card company. I also reported them through Instagram.
