Said it was a payday loan from our local city but couldn’t tell me which one. Said it went into default may 2014. Would settle for $500 or if I dispute it and I lose it would cost $2000, said they sent a letter out 45 days ago. I requested a copy of the letter, but she denied to give any information about the name of the company she was collecting for or documents from them. She wanted me to pay over the phone. I never did a online loan. Also, what loan company would allow you to default and not request money for 6 years?! The persons name was supposedly “Michelle” with a return phone call number of 1-866-836-5825 with ext 1004.

I called back 4 times and was hung up on because I requested thier mailing address to file a formal dispute for the debt with in 30days and when I said " I have the right to mail in a dispute according to the FDCPA that's when I was hung up on the next 4 times I called
