Came across the site while looking into purchasing a new pet. Website appeared legitimate. Contacted the “seller” via email to inquire about said puppy. Exchanged several emails and photos of said “puppy.” “Seller” seemingly asked appropriate questions regarding home environment so as to seem as though they were checking for the safety of the animal. Payment information and delivery was discussed. “Seller” had originally requested that animal be picked up in person. However, seeing as how we are in different states, elected to have the animal delivered via airline. Requested to make a deposit until the receipt of the animal, in which time the remainder of the balance would be paid. “Seller” agreed to these terms and emailed a contract of sale. Nothing alarming stated on contract. Contract was then signed and sent back to “seller” via email and deposit was payed using Zelle. Did receive communication after payment as to a good arrival date. Emailed “seller” the best day however, this is when communication ceased. I did not receive a confirmation of decided date. Attempted to contact “seller” again via email and received no response. Began to look into online pet scams and came across a site that just so happened to mention this very site listed under a different domaine name. Thankfully, I exercised some caution by not paying the full requested amount up front. However, I was still fooled. Lesson learned.
