I didn’t have Zelle —I offered PayPal, but they said that they had somehow reached their maximum transactions on there…Apparently no Venmo either. I am out $1800. I totally didn’t get it, the whole scam thing.
Type of a scam Online Purchase
and I complete an application with: My name, e-mail, phone number, name of the puppy interested in, my location, and a place to write a message. I did it. Somebody yesterday start to answer my application his name is Fory Phillip or Phillip Fory and his e-mail address is: [email protected]. Everything was ok, but a one point, when I asked for a phone # to talk he didn't answer my question.We chat by e-mail almost all Sunday afternoon.He ask me if I will like to pick her up or have her shipped? I answer I discuss with my husband what is better for the puppy, but we don't like it to ship her in a Cargo Fly because is too much stress for her. He answer, it is not a Cargo Fly, Gosh that's a baby. There is a Delivery Agent take care of the puppy like a baby- I said, I feel to much better now and how much is the charge for the transport to Florida? He said It will cost $ 120 to have the baby shipped to your location. I said Ok, we will like to know how much is the finalized price for Adoption, Transport of the puppy to Florida, we need the final price to adopt her. He answer the total price will be $ 820 delivery included. I asked When the puppy will be arriving in West Palm Beach and how do I pay you? He said- If we do the registration early enough the dog will arrive tomorrow. The payment is made via Zelle using your Debit Card. All you have to do is download the Zelle app on your device and as soon as you it setup we will provide our payment information. A this point we start to think about it, something is no right. How a delivery person can travel Minnesota to West Palm Beach in less the 24 Hrs. The phone # in the web site is from Miami (305) 615-5600. I don't feel confortable to do the transaction, I never heard about Zelle. I send back to him an e-mail and I said- we will continuo tomorrow thanks. He respond- LOL Ok.
