I was in the process of buying a puppy from royalcavapoo.com and things were going alright but they said they were based in Georgia and so the puppy had to be shipped. I got a tracking number and everything and then the person from the delivery service started contacting me and emailed me saying that for many reasons (including COVID which animals aren’t supposed to be able to get), that I had to rent a special crate for $1,000 at the cheapest. Which I did not agree to paying in the legal contract that is signed by the man I was buying the puppy from and myself. It said I would get a 90% refund but I was not going to pay it either way as I didn’t agree to pay anything more than half upon agreement and half when the puppy was delivered, making the total $875, nothing about additional charges from the delivery company. And when I started to talk to them about it, they disappeared... along with $437 of my money. They are nowhere to be heard of and my money has now been stolen at this point. I was supposed to receive the alleged puppy today at 12:45 but didn’t happen because I wouldn’t pay an absurd amount of money to RENT a crate which should’ve been previously mentioned in the contract. He claimed he didn’t know that would happen but that is absolute crap because that’s the company you use so you would know that that would happen. So they are just trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes and cheat them out of their money. They are also, I found out after researching some more, that they are actually talked about on a website called petscam.com and everything they say is correct. If there is any help to be done, that would be amazing. I understand this is partially on me for believing his crap. But I overlooked it. Thank you for your time.

Trying to buy a cavapoo puppy. They posted several adorable puppies. Even sent me a video. When I made an agreement they were able to send a contract and travel information for the puppy. I realized I was scammed when the courier service contacted me for an additional $2000 for an air conditioner cage
