We thought that we'd purchased a labrador puppy from a breeder in Minnesota and that the dog was to be shipped to us. The scammer breeder (yes, the breeder is a scammer too, they got $600 - Bretts Labradors) indicated that the shipper would contact us with all of the shipping info. We received e-mails from the shipper indicating that an air conditioned container would be required to ship the dog and that we'd need to pay them a refundable $950 deposit for the shipping container. They'd refund all but $30 and that this was a state requirement for shipping to Georgia. Funds were transferred to them via Cashapp. Several hours later we were told that we'd need to pay an additional $890 for insurance that would be refundable after the flight from Minnesota to Georgia. I immediately started searching the web on this company and found two other people that had been subjected to the same scam. I e-mailed the shipper telling them they'd not be getting any insurance fees and that I was going to report this to the ScamPulse.com and the FBI.
