These Irish Scammers were the same scammers Toronto Police was looking for back in April 20,2021. Man #4 (Thomas Bell) and man #5 (James Bell). https://www.canadianfraudnews.com/suspects-wanted-in-gta-roofing-frauds/ . now at their 29, and 26 years of age respectively with heavy Irish accent. they contacted me via their phone no. 705-209-8201 and 672-272-3127. they were driving an old dark gray color ford 150 pick up truck with license no. that probably was stolen ******. They promised to do the work for a reasonable price. the next day they showed up with three other workers and started taking off the shingles without writing a contract or saying hello first. i stopped them, asked to wrote a contract They said they will take cash or check at the end when the work is done. the next day they asked for cash as their boss's request, James's dad, wanted 50% in advance. i only paid for the day's work, and they worked about 3 days. last day, they came for more cash and after they got the large amount of cash to purchase supplies, they took the money and disappeared. there were three other Irish men, in their 26-32 years of age with them that just stayed in their get away truck! they also scammed our neighbor as they thought these are really going to finish the job, but they ripped their roof up, got paid for the supplies and then disappeared. I have taken their photos and can share with police.
