it started off on instagram an account under _rose_meek_46 messaged me. We had a normal conversation and then this person added my snapchat account and we started chatting there. And then out of no where i was logged out of my snapchat account which doesn’t just happen because you need to take a few steps to log out and these person or persons (or another person) hacked into my snapchat account and was sending inappropriate pictures to this person named Rose. This Rose person was taking pictures of the inappropriate pictures and editing pictures of my face next to the inappropriate pictures the pictures of my face were real but the inappropriate pictures was not me. I didn’t have any pictures like that in my phone and i’ve never sent any pictures like that to anyone and yet these people were messaging them selves from my snapchat account recording all this pretending to me they were attempting to frame me for sending inappropriate pictures and asking for nude pictures from them i changed all my passwords and i got back into my snapchat account and these person sent me the first initial threat with my face and these inappropriate pictures next to it and they said we have your nudes and everything to ruin your life and they threatened to send these pictures to all of my friends and family and they knew my friends and family because they went thru my instagram followers and found everyone and they were threatening to send these pictures to them if i didn’t send money at first they wanted venmo cashapp zelle but i didn’t have any of those they gave me a few emails and a phone number that’s (262) 234-2*** and they started getting angry at me for not cooperating and they said they will send it out if i don’t pay them i was panicking and i was under lots of stress i’m just a kid and i didn’t know what to do so they asked me to go to a store and get gift cards at first they wanted just 700 so i bought a 500$ apple gift card and they asked to send the back of the card where the code is and then they said get another one for 500$ i asked why not 200$ they said because we want another 300$ for wasting our time so i went to another store to get another 500$ apple gift card i bought it sent them the code and then i told them they got all my money i don’t have anymore then they demanded more i said i don’t have anymore and they said to ask my friends for help i kept on saying i can’t and i won’t but they kept on threatening me so i was scared so i told them it’ll take a while even tho i wasn’t going to go ask my friends for money so i said i’ll do it tomorrow so i woke up in the morning and i went and bought an amazon gift card from a walgreens store because they wanted amazon this time it was another 500$ and i sent them the code and then i told them i’m done that’s all i could get they kept telling me the amazon gift card didn’t work that i’m trying to play them i wasn’t trying to play them i actually got 500$ on the card and than i just blocked them on snapchat this angered them because in the first initial threat they told me if i block them they will send out those pictures and so a few hours went by and during those few hours i messaged every single one of my instagram followers friends family everyone saying that i’ve been hacked and scammed and i’m being framed so i was just making sure my friends and family know what’s going on and so they know if they get any strange messages they shouldn’t believe the messages or pictures because it’s not me it’s the scammers and after those few hours i got a message on instagram they made a gc with a few of my friends on instagram and they said we are warning you unblock us or we will send these pictures out so i got scared again and unblocked them they said i screwed up by blocking them and they said they want $500 more and at this point i was drained of all my money and i was not putting up with this so i told my parents about it and we went to the local police station and made a report i gave the police all the info the fake pictures the venmo accounts the emails and the phone number and the instagram accounts they were using they’ve still been messaging me asking for more money i’ve been ignoring them just like the police told me to do i’ve reported this scam to the fbi and the district attorney general please catch these people what they are doing is a crime and need to be stopped because they will continue to do this to others and get money from innocent people
