This morning we were provided the shipping website (interswiftdroppers.com) and the tracking code. After I received the code, I was then emailed by the shipper ([email protected]) about an "urgent refundable insurance" payment needed in order to ship the puppy of $1500.00. This was never discussed with the seller so unfortunately it wasn't until that point that we started digging. I texted the seller to inquire what this was about and after some hesitation, he offered to split the cost of the refundable insurance. We declined and said we would like a refund and that we were moving on. He agreed he would refund the money.
Once we really started digging in, we were able to locate not only the stock photo used on the website of the supposed puppy we thought we were buying (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/540432024033033774/) but also one of the pictures he texted me last night with the puppy in the bathtub that we now know is over 2-years old (https://imgur.com/r/animalssmiling/EeMpkTx).
We told him we would go quietly if he refunded the money immediately. He is not responding. The phone number used 513-456-2787, is a google redirected number, which is also the one he lists on his website.
We would like to get this guy shut down IMMEDIATELY! Please let me know if I can help provide any further details or the text transcript from our conversation.
