Got a bad "bed in a box"
I purchased a queen size, pillow top, bed in a box, from Romeo and Juliet store in universal Mall on Dequindre between 11 Mile and 12, in Warren. On April 27, 2023. He delivered it the next morning, and I immediately pulled it out of the box and set it up. I did not sleep on it for 3 days, even though it says 24 to 48 hours. The reason I didn't is because the head and foot and were not fluffing up. I tried pushing in the middle towards the head and towards the foot to help it along, and nothing. So I went back to the store, 4-5 days later, and I told the man what the deal was, and he said take pictures of it and send it to the number that is for the 8 Mile road store. So I did. I waited a couple days and no one got a hold of me so I called them. And I talked to a supposed manager, Robert, and he said to send the pictures to a different phone number. And I did. Didn't hear anything for a few more days so I called again I called back a total of four times. And this last time, Robert, kept telling me he doesn't have time to fix my problem, he has other customers and he kept talking very loud without even coming up for air while I was trying to tell him what the deal was with the bed. and he never heard a word I said because he wouldn't stop talking. This went on for a good 15 minutes. I was treated very badly, he was very rude, and was not a manager like, person. And my problem still hasn't been solved. Now he's telling me to take a picture of the tag on the mattress and send it to him. And he will get to it when he has time. This is no way to treat a customer, I just spent $1,100 on this mattress, and I have to put pillows into the head part of the mattress to level it out so I can sleep. And I sure hope this, Robert, is reprimanded! Because he has no intentions of helping me out or giving me another mattress. Which is all I wanted just an even exchange for a queen pillow top, mattress, that will fully inflate.
So I have been dealing with this for a little over a month, and I just want my bed, please.
