I contacted Roland from a friends Facebook post about a remote job. I was not initially shocked when he needed money to start because of the equipment involved. The first transaction was $500 for a laptop. Then I sent him a new iPhone 14 Pro Max ($1,469.98) to be programmed with the companies software along with the laptop. Well guess what, another $500 is needed to complete the programming so I foolishly sent that too. This whole time Roland and I have been communicating. I had stressed several times I felt I was being scammed he assured me I was not. The Balance Career is legit and I would be doing data entry for them. Now they are having a problem downloading the program and another $1,000 is needed. I said no, I refuse to send more and would like a refund which I can get after I send $300 for a 24 access key code. Yep I was scammed. Shame on you Roland Smith at 864-741-1661.
