the lady posted that she was having a sale on custom leather patches for hats. My husband had just started his business so we thought we would support a small business and ordered 10. The order was placed and paid for on March 24, 2023. On April 2 when I asked for ETA, I was told she would be back tomorrow and would check. She never got back to me so I reached out again on April 7, she told me that most run 3-6 weeks and that the hat patches were being done that day and the following Monday. On May 4th, I asked if she had a picture of one completed because my husband was dying to see one and she told me they were set for the following week. I followed up on May 12th with no response. I followed up again on May 17th and was told that she would check tomorrow that she had been sick. Again, she didn't get back with me...On May 19th I asked again for a picture and when the hats would ship and again I never received a response. on May 23rd I checked in again stating that Friday would be 9 weeks since we had placed the order and paid and that I would really appreciate an update. Her only response was that orders hold a 3 month guarantee so I mentioned the previous timelines she had given that May 4th she had told me that they were set for the following week. no response. June 10th, I messaged again asking if the hats would ship that week and she told me that they were set for that month. i told her that Friday would be the 3 month mark and we went back and forth about how long it had actually been and she said she would try to upload the picture the following day. June 23rd I checked back in and all she said was "sorry we've had severe storms I'm dealing with today." June 26th I said "Is our order shipping today? Saturday was the 3 month mark" she read it and didn't respond so I messaged again later asking for pictures for proof and she told me, yes Friday. I told her I wanted proof that day since it had been 3 month and it was paid for. she said 3 months was an estimated timeline. I told her that this was never communicated and that I had had to ask for updated multiple times so I was just going to file a claim with my bank. She tried telling me that she would report me for theft and I told her she couldn't do that since I never received anything. (she still at this point hadn't even asked for a shipping address). I have reached out to my bank who has closed the claim stating that her bank would have to refund the funds back to us and I reached back out to her saying that if she had the items then we still wanted them but if not then we just wanted a refund. Supposedly the funds have been taken from her account and she didn't fight the claim but it's been 2 months and I have yet to receive items or the funds.
