Someone from an IP address at the business contacted my HR department by email and also social media (from multiple addresses and profiles) saying that they were interested in a job. There is a young woman who manages those online accounts who had to be cursed out, physically threatened, and sexually harassed multiple times during these encounters - there was also phishing malware sent and unfortunately opened on one of our devices where we house the sensitive information of our employees and our clients. When we tracked the IP address it is clear that the messages came from this business and the gentleman who contacted us from multiple FB accounts had on the pages that he is a director of sales here. Understanding the struggles of employing troublesome employees, and out of concern for my own personal information - I contacted the owner "Cameron" and attempted to inform him of the situation and I left the conversation convinced that he either doesn't care or he is involved. He told me that what is happening is a personal problem between us and his employee, however when I tried to explain that the issue involves him because the spying viruses are seemingly being sent directly from his business and that this person under the name "Corey Yandle" is announcing himself as being in charge there, it very much was his issue. Cameron became irrate and the hung up. We are now forced to call an outside IT team to review all of our devises and figure out how this was able to get through. The efforts of "Corey" to contact us and send our business accounts threatening messages have not stopped and appear to still be coming from Rock N Roll Auto Sales. We simply just want this stop and want whoever is involved to realize these "pranks" - if that's what they are serious and this software they are sending our accounts put multiple individuals personal and family information at risk. The young woman who does the hiring was brought to tears due to the things that were said.
