Had a telegram message for a data entry job paying $22.50 from “Randy Olson”. I was weary, but after a text message interview he said he would send me a check to buy the equipment and then I knew something was weird. The messages are all the same as the ones previously reported. At the end, I knew it was a total scam after I asked ridiculous questions and he answered. And he asked for a photo of myself (female) and I sent a photo of a man and he did not question it at all.

I only divulged information that is on my public resume and just played along to see where it would go... this is the initial job offer I received... then just like the report above, I had an "interview" via Skype, the conversation was almost exactly like the one above. Please don't fall for this!

A few days ago, after replying to a job on CareerBuilder that had no company name, I got a text, supposedly from Catalent Pharmaceutical (look up that company name to see what all happened there). Today, I got an almost identical text from "Roche Holding AG". Companies never text you unless it's asking you to call them--they would never do an entire interview over instant messenger. Don't fall for this.

I was contacted by someone identified as the "Hiring Desk" of "Roche Holdings AG." The individual at the hiring desk informed me that they reviewed my resume and that I was qualified for a position with their company. I was then contacted by a "Michael Drew," who then told me about the history of the company and what their expectations of me were (obtaining office equipment and computer software with monies forwarded to me by the company). I was then forwarded a check, which I deposited in a bank account opened by me for this purpose. Mr. Drew asked why I hadn't deposited the funds in my previously existing bank account. At this point I became suspicious. The bank in which I opened the new account put a hold on the check representing the funds (at this point I discontinued my correspondence with Mr. Drew) and later returned the check, informing me that it was fictitious. I have heard nothing from Roche Holdings AG ever since.

These people have sent me a 9,200 check in the mail. They are supposed to be a legit pharmaceutical company and try to get you to deposit the money into your account. I have spoken with this person at length and even asked her if they are with the BBB and she never answered me. I suggest that if you receive any type of email or text that ask you to work from home that you really investigate it so that you are not taken.

They emailed me and stated they got my resume from career builder it was for a Data entry Analysts for Roche Holdings AG. I had to email Audrea smith at andrea.hrdesk@gmail to do a interview she ask me several different interview questions. Then she stated. She will let me know the decision in 24 hrs. So the next day i was offered the job. They sent me a offer letter and they sent me a fake check i deposited it into my bank it. Never cleared they said it was a scam 2970.00 my acct is flagged and on a hold right now. They called everyday to see if check cleared then stated i need to get my software i kept saying this check never cleared and they said it was a mistake and they will clear it up. Never did always had a excuse. They are still trying to get money from me but im not doing it.
