The scammer emailed me posing as a board of director from the company IVEDA. He stated his name was Robert Derks, his email came with a company signature and everything looked legit. He had me sign an agreement and send my ID over. However, I noticed he stated that I would be receiving the equipment for the remote job after he sends me a check. He stated that his company has had issues with logistics and needed me to deposit the check into my account and purchase the equipment from his vendor and then I started asking him questions and then he left me on read. It should be noted that a Human Resources contacted me as well therefore I noted this Scam as one with thought and time put into it.
