It all started with an insurance claim through my all state app they issued the company for a pickup on my vehicle . I called road runners ahead of time to let them know the conditions of my vehicle. I also let them know that my car was lowered and itll possibly need a specific tow truck to load it up .. jessica the manager told me its fine the truck they are sending should work i let her know okay , my all state app is stating that i have to pay out of pocket $24.97 she then said yes but make it $25.00 cause we dont do change .. i said thats fine so i will pay you once your driver gets here.. shortly after driver arrived . And he seems not to happy about the pickup he then looks at my car and he said its gunna be $45.00 .. i said i just spoke to a representative at your office and she said $25.00 .. and also my insurance app is also stating $25.00 . So why are you charging me more all of a sudden.. he then says i have to take better care of your car and i have to use special equipment.. i said what special equipment he says i have to put 2 pieces of wood under your car … i said that doesnt make any sense at all ima call your office and let them know about the fee you are charging me .. he says go ahead shes gunna tell you the same thing… sure enough i called jessica and told her about her driver charging me more and she said yes $45.00… i said my app is telling my $25 and you just also told me $25.00 ? She then felt the need to raise her voice at me and get really rude because i was tryna figure out why they were charging me more then what my insurance company told me to pay .. she then cancelled my tow and in anger hung the phone up on me . I believe she felt conflicted that i started questioning the weird fee upon arrival and felt as if she got caught tryna scam a customer for more money or the driver who charged me was tryna pocket money without my insurance company knowing.. I spoke to all state and they said they absolutely werent suppose to charge me more .. shortly after I called a few tow sites and they also said that that was wrong on there end for tryna charge me more .. they also indicated that they were tryna play me dumb and pocket money out of my ride . I have proof of calls and also calls to my insurance. I left them 2 bad reviews as well
