The company used to be a legitimate company, but they went out od business several years ago. The scammer still uses their website and adverised on Facebook. Upon calling, a man with a foreign accent answered and emaile a formal looking purchase agreement. After contacting other local businesses I was informed this business had closed dear years prior.

Riley Equipment Sales in Portsmouth OH does not actually exist. The 78 year old owner retired and sold the business to what is now SciCo Equipment & Tool. But scammers took over the RES website, changed the phone number, and are advertising tractor sales that don't exist. When one Googles the business name and call the phone number listed, it is 'temporarily' disconnected. And the phone number on the RES website is actually out of Adamsville OH which is 3 hours away from Portsmouth. The phone provider is also with an international not domestic provider. This is a scam site that stole the business information from a 78 year old man and are maintaining the now non-existent business as a scam. I called SciCo Equipment 740-285-2660 and they knew of the scam.
