Job offer for a remote work-from-home position, no specific information as to the company, this a recruiting firm. They "are required to vet all our candidates and carry out background checks. In order to complete this verification and background check phase, you are required to provide the following documents:

Government-issued Driver's License (Front and Back)

1040 Tax documents for 2022

Please ensure all documents are in PDF or JPEG formats when uploading.

Once we receive your documents, our verification department will go through the necessary process and provide any further recommendations.

Once your information has been provided, you will receive an interview request link and further instructions on how we will get started."

The company is asking for a driver's license and 1040 before an interview, I find that very unusual.
