Started with an email from the company asking for an interview. Went to wire and had the interview. Waited a day or two then got a call for a job offer. Then was sent an email to complete a work agreement form. Switched to chatting on Wire. I was told I need to pay a vendor for a business phone. A check was sent to me, then I deposited it, then sent most of it to a random account. Another check was sent for more equipment, then I contacted my bank to see what they thought. They said it was a scam, so I documented everything and blocked the person I had been contacting. Even the bank said everything looked really convincing, but they then pointed out what made things look off.
