This website appears everything you might want at a glance. Small family owned, guarantees, shipping and delivery, best breeding and play location for Dachshund puppies. Contact information is only through support email on the initial page of the website, then other emails are given when it's time to send money after they contact you via your email address that is provided. The physical address or phone number of the business cannot even be found on the website itself. (https://rigbydoxies.com). There are some reviews on the site, which of course are not bad, and looks like the health guarantee section was last updated in November 2019. Reasonable for a breeding company, I would presume. The shipping and delivery looks seamless as they have been sending pups all over for 14 plus years now....without any apparent issues, until now.

This is the first time in my life I have ever complained about a business publicly. I sent half of my payment through Google Pay and the other half through Zelle. Two different recipients. $150 of the total cost was for air transportation to pick up my puppy from their chosen method of transportation (Easy Wave Shipping) to the nearest airport to me.

Their response time is slow but I thought surely this is all acceptable and seemed legit. I know breeding is expensive and I felt like under $1000 maybe I just got lucky to find such a great place. I have always loved this breed of dog and had several many years ago in my twenties.

I have decided to write this immediately rather than waiting for a response from the seller, as I know one is not coming and the likelihood of any type of refund is probably out of the question. After crying most of the morning, I am now just heartbroken and feel used. My pup should have arrived by noon today and instead it appears he is being held in Little Rock Arkansas (not at the Clinton Airport because I called them already) due to needing a "Electric Thermal Crate" before delivery can be complete. If a innocent 11 week old puppy is stuck in a "basket crate" at Easy Wave Shipping at an unknown location because they want me to pay an additional $900 to $1200 to RENT a different type of crate (allegedly this money is returned as soon as the pup is delivered) for transport, in sunny weather........ this is just ridiculous! Their website is: https://easywaveshipping.com/

See attached example of what Rigby claims, the shipping company says and just compare a little. Something isn't right and NO ONE deserves to be in a situation like this ever. I have several attachments, but am only allowed to add one in this next section. I have attached bits and pieces of various sections. My advice would be to read what is on the Rigby Doxies website and then compare to part of the email I received when I found out I would not be getting a delivery today. It's been a long time since I have been this upset and I hope no one ever has to go through it.

My daughter saw a very cute picture of a puppy online for adoption. She forwarded me the website. On the website, they stated if you are interested in a puppy to contact them via email-there is a link on the website. I choose the puppy “Peppy” and asked if she was still available.

I received an email back asking where I live. Then they stated that they could fly the animal right to me or I could pick the puppy up at the airport. They stated once full payment was made, they would send me the certificate and information on pickup at the airport (the flight information) and that they use continental airlines. They only accept Zelle, GooglePay, and ApplePay as payments. I did not have any of these types of accounts so I set up an ApplePay account. When I went to send the money, my bank flagged the phone number as fraudulent and refused the transaction. I did more research online and found the same stories from other people that have been scammed (petscam.com).

I also noticed on their website that they state they have been doing this for 20+ years but the ScamPulse.com says they just began this business January 20, 2021.

We found Gracie a 10wk old Dachshund on the website Rigby Doxies. My mother inquired if Gracie was still available. She received a reply from [email protected] stating that yes Gracie was still available. We started communicating about Gracie and what the next steps were in regards to purchasing her. I guess my first red flag should have been when it took 3 emails before I was provided with a name and phone number of a guy named Robert. However I was told that I could call in 4hrs when he was off work. When I called no one answered and it was text subscriber number. He emailed me back and said that he was still at work but essentially answered all the questions I had via email. In my mind I thought this would be better as at least I had a paper trail. On the 4th of February we made a payment of Gracie using the Zelle app. Due to Zelle's weekly max I tried using apple pay to complete the rest of the payment. I got an email back stating they received the Zelle payment but the Apple payment hadn't gone though. I eventually ended up cancelling the Apply Payment and sent the remaining payment though the Zelle app to [email protected] and [email protected]. I thought this was a little odd but it was a family owned business. Once the payments were received an email with a certificate of ownership and a letter stating that we now had ownership of Gracie. This came from a guy name Quiacy Rigby located at 13297 Andrews Drive. Denver CO and had phone number of 970-550-1140. On Saturday the 6th of February at 9:32am we received Gracie's tracking information. Turns out her tracking information is part of the elaborate scam as well. Later that afternoon I checked on the website to see if they had any updates as to where Gracie might be and when she would arrive. The website stated that she was out for delivery but was in Boise, Idaho. I tried to call the shipping company only to find that the number was working so I emailed them. Shortly after emailing them I got a response stating that Gracie was now on hold due to the sender not shipping her in the correct crate. I was told that we needed to rent her a warming crate so she could safely be transported. That we would get our money back in full once Gracie was safely delivered. Due to the high cost of the warming crate I emailed back stating that I needed to talk to a person before any additional information would be paid out. Needless to say no one would contact me and all the numbers I had listed for the seller would answer. So now my family is out $700.00 and we still don't have a puppy. Here is a list of all the phone numbers I have for this seller.

I had been in contact with The "owner" Quincy for about two weeks. The puppy I was wanting to buy all of sudden sold and they said they don't know what to do. well then they posted one I feel in love with an I told them I would take him. Well they told me It would be shipped to the airport where I could pick him up, all of a sudden it is being delivered to my house and I need to pay them more money for that. Well the tracking number they gave me said it as on hold in Missouri because it needed a electronic thermal crate. They told me I need to pay them 1400 that it would all be refunded. The email sent to me from the shipping company was very fishy. Misspelled words the way things are worded. The email said the the seller must sign the paperwork and make the payment. When I tried to contact the seller None of the numbers are working anymore and they will not answer my emails. The number I sent money to from apple pay is from Florida and not Colorado. I never received the puppy. The photos were stolen off of someone's facebook page. They are also running multiple websites that are scamming people.
