I received an email invitation for a webinar explaining a new way to learn piano, 100% lifetime guarantee, pay $1397 up front. A had trouble making a credit card payment twice, so I emailed the company at a link they sent me and they payment went through. I was feeling a bit uncomfortable since the cc payment was initially denied twice, so I quickly looked at the reviews, and noticed they were all very recent (suspicious!) and there were none from any students from 1 year or more. He claimed to have been teaching for decades, so I immediately (within 5 minutes) tried to reverse or cancel the charge with my credit card company. The cc company said I would have to wait 3-5 business days (this was 4/24/2023) before the charge could be disputed since they had to wait until it posted. I called today (4/27/2023) to dispute /reverse the charge of $1397. I told them I had changed my mine immediately and wanted to reverse the charge out. I have not opened up anything that they have emailed me yet. I did request a refund to support@ridleyacademy but have not received a response. There is no phone number I can find for this bogus "Ridley Academy! i cannot update the address but the email shows 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ
