The people were advertising Boxer puppies that were $250 and $50 transport fee. After they would receive the MoneyGram for the 300, they would send the information from the shipping company regard when/where/etc of shipping. The shipping company then called and said they needed $750 more for a "special crate" and would not ship without the money or we would have to go to Maryland (from Louisiana) in person to release the dog. I contacted the person by the phone they sent a video of the puppy from (240)232-6597 and told them to send the money back that they had scammed my son who is fighting Leukemia. I then emailed the address that we received email info about the dogs ([email protected]) and told them I was reporting them to you, They have since in the past hour, recontacted my son and told him they had some of the money for the crate fee and if he could get some more money from his friends they would send the dog. These people need to be stopped so that someone else does not fall for this. So sad
