I was approached by a woman who said her name was ‘Sophia Williams’ and she expressed interest in scheduling me for a job interview for the company ‘Rhenus Logistics’ I was told to download the telegram app and add Rhenus Logistics to begin the interview process. I did so with some hesitation as I’ve never heard of a company interviewing a potential employee over text but I figured it wasn’t so uncommon considering it is a work from home job. I was offered the job and I accepted. The man conducting the interview went by the name ‘Patrick Simon’ after offering me the job, he asked for personal information such as my address and social security number. I provided these things because I was sent an employment offer via email that looked legit. Patrick then asked me to pay a $500 fee for the purchase of my ‘Time Tracker’. I then knew this was for sure a scam and wanted to make this aware to everyone.
