I found out-of-stock jewelry on a fake website. I attempted to purchase it, put personal information into the site, may have entered my credit card, then I was sent to paypal. I completed the purchase in paypal. Two charges appeared in PayPal, one for $75 and one for $1 monthly. In addition I had 3 fraudulent charges on my credit card from Walmart. All 3 were for just over $12. In my credit card statement, it says "Walmart" but I don't see the charges on my (very old never used) Walmart account. I learned about the walmart charge when I received an email from my credit card saying someone attempted to use my Walmart virtual card some place that is not walmart. My credit card company said I named my virtual Walmart card "Revuehawa" which I did not. That's the name of the fake website. I'm getting a new credit card now. It's a complex story and sophisticated scam.
