Person contacted me on Facebook Marketplace wanting to purchase an item I’m selling. She used the name Alex Roy. She asked me to text her so she could send me a Google code to verify I’m real. After I did so, I got suspicious. When I googled whether this could be a scam, I found out it is.

Listed something in Facebook marketplace. They were interested, asked for address and phone #, I gave them that information then they asked for a 6 digit code. I blocked them but now they have my information.
