This company contacted me demanding payment for a credit card debt that had been paid off for years - when I asked who they represented they would only tell me the credit card company name and nothing more. They did tell me the debt is from 2015. This is 2021. I continued to tell them that the debt was paid and they then demanded a letter from the credit card company stating it was paid. I asked them for the contact information of the credit card company - and they told me to google it. Then hung up. They continue to call and harass me - and I continue to ask them to stop. They are fraudulently trying to collect on a debt that has been paid for many years. The onus is on them to prove that the debt is not paid and they can not do so. I have provided them the information to confirm the payment and they refuse - demanding that I do so. This is thievery!
