I’ve been waiting for a package through Royalty Mail and since I am in the US they rarely offer tracking numbers for standard international shipping. I’m in the middle of moving houses so my delivery address is in between two places, I made the delivery address my new address though I’m not moved in just yet (within a week) because I figured it’d get here on time. It isn’t here yet but I’ve been expecting it because it’s been a few weeks since I’ve been notified of it being shipped. I probably won’t use Royalty mail if i can help it anymore. Anyway I got a text saying that my delivery has failed and I need to reschedule it. Anxious about the package being sent back I was reckless and didn’t pay proper attention to what I was doing and where I was putting information in. The website looks real however clicking on anything other than the “reschedule delivery button” does not work. Red flag. The site looks like USPS website but none of the hyperlinks actually work so try clicking around first if you ever come across sites like these. They took my address, email, phone number then credit card info for a $1.99 fee to redeliver which I should have noticed as odd since i’ve never been charged for a redelivery before. I will have to get new card and keep an eye on my personal info for a bit, I hope you are more cautious with these type of scams.
