My sibling received a check for $1200 from Republic Bank and Trust company stating that it was a stimulus check from the government. Upon looking into this we discovered it was a scam. We did not cash the check but wanted to make people aware that this is going on. We are also going to contact the Attorney Generals office to let them know as well.
