Looking for a home to rent in Bozeman. “Karl Been” had a listing. When contacted, he asked us to “drive by” the place to see it’s for rent. If we liked what we saw we could fill out the application. He was offering a deal, pay 3-6 months up front and he would pay utilities and give a $100 discount off the monthly rent. When asked to view the property he stated he was on “base” and his finance manager had to go out of town on emergency, so it was not possible at this moment to view the home. Interestingly, the home is listed for rent on several sites with a property management company. The proper management company was contacted and had no idea who”Karl Been” is, and the legitimate monthly rent is higher then what “Karl Been” was asking…. Beware, do your research.
