fellow called from one # stating that i pd $ for computer download (security) in Nov. 18. he wanted me to get online to remove service and he would refund me. I wasnt home at my PC, so he called back at requested time. said to type in www.remotepc.com, but he could not explain what he was removing, all he said is that he was calling on behalf of Microsoft. the companies license was cancelled. he was angry because I would not cooperate without questions. he said he would "freeze my computer" and another charge of the same amount would be taken from my card. About a year a go, I did pay for a service through SAFE TECH SOLUTIONS. That payment was taken from Gateway:AVKTARGETS. that phone # given is 855 816 3635, which I cannot contact. perhaps THAT was a scam. can you guide me as to if this is real?
