Remer SRL Reports & Reviews (2)

Initially I thought I had applied for the Job, but I received an email from an Ivan Chavez who was supposedly the recruiter that was looking for someone with my background for a customer service representative position. The position paid $55 an hour and was a part-time position. I asked for more information because I was curious. I then received an email with a paper application and the job description from Ernest Ventura, Human Resources Manager. I thought it was interesting, so I sent my resume to [email protected]. There was a link in the email that allowed you to schedule an appointment for a Skype interview. I set up skype and waited for my interview time which was 11:30 Central. I did not get a call at that time, so I contacted the interviewer, Donald Obrien at 1-520-329-4726. I left him a message and realized later that that number was on Mountain time, so I was early. However, Donald called me back and notified me that he would begin the skype session. So we hung up and proceeded with the skype session. He then called me for a brief moment and asked me if I could see him, then he disconnected and started the chat session. After answering a series of 11 questions in which he only responded to 2 of my answers and it was either, Oh Cool, or yes. He then briefed me on the position again which was the same as the job description I received. He then asked if I had any questions in which I did. He answered them and then offered me the position. He sent me an employment contract agreement which asked for bank account information and my social security number. Unfortunately, I already gave him my address and he has my phone number and email. So, I started looking at he website for the company. I realized that everything was listed on the paperwork accurately for the company except for the email. To send information through the website, you have to send it to [email protected], but to send information to these guys you have to send it to [email protected]. I tried looking for these guys on LinkedIn and could not find them and as a matter of fact there was nothing on the site about this company at all. I then checked out this website and saw two other people were targeted, so I thought I would share as well.

I was contact via email by a person pretending to be job recruiter ([email protected]) stating that a company named Remer SRL was looking for a customer service rep. I replied that I would like to have further information on the job and position. I was then emailed an application with a brief description of the job. They wanted to pay $55.00 an hour for the position after 2 weeks of paid training where they would pay $30.00 an hour. I was setup with an interview for the following Monday. The interview was strange as the guy didn't want to do a video call but a chat interview where I was given a list of questions. I saw his face for a total of 30 seconds then he shift completely to the chat. After the interview I was emailed and told that they were offering me the position and that I needed to complete the paperwork to finish the process. The paperwork was very simple but it requested my banking info, a copy of my ID, and my SSN. Attached is the application that was emailed over.
