I unfortunately know the owner of REM&MA photography (Mackenzie Bragg) I paid for photography services of a senior photo shoot for my daughter. The owner cancelled twice and did not show for the third. When I messaged her via txt and fb messenger she ignored me. I did this for several days. I even sent her a refund request that she denied. I googled what to do. It stated the process advice to try and communicate via phone or a heartfelt socia media post. I tried the phone and was ignored so I decided to write a heartfelt fb post of concern while exposing in a professional manner what she had done. She immediately responded and said she will refund me that day. Several more day pass and still no refund. I consulted with my bank and they said to dispute the charge I need a police report. I filed a report and the cop called the owner. The owner apologized and said she spent my money but will refund me 11 the next day. Still no refund. In the process of dispute I went to file a small claims report to find out that she does not have any business licenses, insurance or tax sellers permit and has been operating as a business. When the cop called her he explained to her that she has no permits and licenses and is committing a crime on top of her stealing and that by her having a business contract for her clients to sign she is acting as a business entity and commuting tax fraud. Over the past couple of days people have been posting on my wall and messaging me on their story and what she had done to them. She has scanned almost 20 people that we know personally and there is no telling how many more. This has to stop. Please do something and don’t let another scammer get away.
