We received a call from a company stating they were with Reliant/Cirro Electricity one names Robert Williams and the manager Edward... they had all of our account information stating we were going to be disconnected if we did not make immediate payment of $1290.24. All information was validated except they would not take electronic check or credit card because it takes 24-48 hours to process & therefore would be disconnected. Stated we had to get a fast track card, gave us a location of a store & actual address where we went & bought 3 cards to cover the balance ($500, $300, $500) gave them the information. Apparently they were having trouble to get money validated & stated we needed go get the green fast card, and they would refund us the $ of these cards & give a $100/month discount off our next 6 months before we got disconnected. They gave us another CVS with exact location, while about to purchase the manager stated she thought it was weird someone called asking about those cards this morning. We then realized it was a scam... called the visa Vanilla gift card place & were thankfully able to put a hold on 2 of the 3 cards, but $500 had already been collected, now will be up for dispute. They keep calling... and if you call back as we did, they have all info & claim disconnection still.
