I had the exact same above situation happen to me, iPhone 12 pro max came from China 2 weeks later then they said, the iPhone was blacklisted, iCloud lock - cannot use the phone!
company rejecting my calls, cannot get money back.

I ordered a apple iPhone pro max the phone was suppose to be sent over night I received the phone a week later. I was told it was coming from California it was sent from Hong Kong. When I turned the phone on after put my SIM card in it I was not able to make nor receive calls. I then checked the serial number it should 11 pro and the imei shows a 12 pro max. Before receiving the phone I emailed and called the company several times with no response . I don’t even know how to return this fake phone to get my money back. I really think the local police should get involved because they are doing this to a lot of people .
