[email protected] Reports & Reviews (1)

- Colorado City, AZ, USA • Jun 27, 2023

I saw someone posted a small ad for a job opportunity, and a number to contact for more info. After i texted them, they gave a brief "description" and said there would be a training for a week. Asked me to download Spike and email "[email protected]" with an interview code. From there, the "HR Rep" gave more info about the job and said we'd be starting the actual interview and said "be quick with your answers". They asked about background info like felony, drugs, us citizen, and then strengths and weaknesses, preference of direct deposit or check, whether i had good credit history and what my credit score was, what bank i operate with, and mobile carrier. After answering all questions, they said id be a great fit and they needed to forward the answers to the "head department". A few hours later, they said "the company has decided to give you a chance" and "congratulations". I asked a few more questions and they told me once my id was generated, we could discuss more through their secure email and site. Then they said to start my account, they need my name, address, phone, and email. Then they sent me a form to fill out that had the more personal info, like social security number. Throughout this whole thing, a part of me had a feeling something was wrong, and it just got worse and worse as it went on. By this point, i wasnt going to give any more info without talking to a person over the phone and making sure it was real. Initially, i had done a little bit of research, like looking up the company. But at this point, i decided to dive deeper. Nobody answered the phone to the company, the hr person was only on linkedin and it looked like a fake profile, i found a conversations that someone had with another scammer that basically was word for word what they were saying to me. I didnt fill out the form, told them to get lost and then blocked them. If its too good to be true, it probably is. Listen to your gut instinct.
