I applied for a job on indeed with a company called Paw Sensitive supposedly recruiting agency to help people walk and sit for pets. A Kaitlyn Williams matched me with a Dave and Naomi Scott that were supposedly moving to the area. I was given their email and told to contact them directly. I was in contact through email and eventually texting since 04/17. I was to be paid ahead of time one week’s pay and the cost of food for the dogs as they were to be sent before the couple arrived. I was instead sent a check for 2480.00 for what was said to be her husband's work. I was told to deposit the check and the extra 2200.00 was to purchase appliances for their house to have delivered before they moved here. They asked me to cash app the owner for the appliances. By the time I realized it was a scam I had sent 2200.00. I have reported the scam to Cashapp. I called the company that was listed on the check, they informed me it was fraudulent, and the money would be pulled back out of my account today 05/09. I have an email and a phone number and text messages. I filed a police report with Huntsville police department today. I am completely devastated that this happened through Indeed and I was just trying to make some additional income.
