I made a purchase from a company advertising on facebook. I received an email saying they received my order, gave me an order number and said they would contact me when shipped. I had ordered expedited shipping. This was September 16/2020. Today I tried to find the shop and email them only to be shown that the email address isn't valid, and the shopify account had moved/closed. It didn't look like a shopify account when I ordered. Looks like they took my money and ran. I doubt I have any options to get my money returned. I think shopify should be shut down! Doesn't seem to be any consequences for these scammers.

The ad was for camping chairs by a website called reclinersensation.com. Looked legit. The company said they had started in california in 2018. The pictures of the chairs I had seen great reviews of. If I had taken a closer look at the FAQ or other links I probably would have seen they lead nowhere.
