Someone from this number called and said that they were calling from the receiver generals office and that I had an outstanding tax amount due and it was in the process of going to court and that they wanted me or my lawyer to contact them right now. If I didn’t contact them I would have the police at my door and they wished me good luck I knew this was a scam and I didn’t appreciate being threatened like this. I called them back and told them that I knew this was a scam because I did not have any “taxes owing” and I told them I had reported them to the police.
