I was researching real looking baby dolls for dementia patients at our hospital. I came across a website advertising smaller dolls for about $60. They were advertised as silicone, with moveable appendages, and real hair. There were pictures of customers with their dolls and positive reviews so I did go ahead and decide to purchase, using the company credit card. When the doll arrives, it was a cheap plastic doll that looked like it could have come from Dollar General. I knew right then and there that I had been scammed, but did try to call the customer service line. There was a prompt for customer complaints, but when you pushed that prompt, it would just hang up on you. I feel very badly that I was scammed, especially since I was trying to get something at a reasonable price for dementia patients.
