Real Estate Employment Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lutz, FL, USA • Jun 18, 2023

I received an email stating I have already set a phone interview with this real estate company for Monday. I have never applied for said position, nor had I set up a phone interview. I keep an Excel sheet of all jobs I have applied to, including company names, where I found the job listing, and the application link. All interviews I have arranged were put on my Google calendar, none of which were set for Monday. In the email they addressed me by my full name and it seems they may have gotten my phone number. The format of the email used to contact me is very suspicious, and when checking the security details it states the email was mailed by wtrtechnologies.com, a very different and seemingly unrelated 'company' email. The following is the text of the email I received but with my name omited:

Subject line: Well-paid vacancies with flexible hours for [First Name]

Email Text: Dear prospective employee [First & Last name]

I wanted to remind you that we scheduled our phone interview for tomorrow. Don't you worry if you have not worked in real estate and construction spheres before because our team of experts is ready to train you and share our experience with you. I'll contact you tomorrow and I'll also send you additional information about our vacancies.

Sincerely,

Carolina Vernetti
