I applied for a job on LinkedIn for a warehouse manager in a new location the company was setting up in Suffolk, VA. After filling out some forms and taking some personality tests, I received an email for an interview through a Zoom video call. After completing the interview, I was called by Dee Chen that I had received the job and they would send me an offer letter soon. All seemed normal until they asked me for more personal information including Social Security number, a copy of my driver's license, my bank account information, etc. I didn't submit any of these because right after being asked for these items, they also said that I would have to pay $450.00 up front to travel to Miami and Houston for training, and I would be reimbursed when my information was set up into their payroll. Taking a closer look at their website, I noticed the website location was not certified and also that their website was very vague with not many products available, no location details, and no specific names listed. After calling and voicing my concerns, I never heard from the company again. I have typed in the address and phone number into Google and different company names populated.
