I WAS JUST CONTACTED FOR AN INTERVIEW AND HAD AN INTERVIEW WITH THEM AT 10AM...AFTER READING ALL OF THESE REVIEWS, I TEXTED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I AM DENYING MY REQUEST FOR UNEMPLOYMENT AND THAT I WILL ALSO BE REPORTING THEM! I ALSO EXPRESSED THAT IT WAS SOOOO SAD THAT THEY'RE DOING THIS TO PEOPLE AND THAT THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!

I applied to RCH Mercury Investment via Indeed. I got an email to do a interview invitation (chat only). I completed an assessment and got hired as a Admin Officer. I got messages from Christine L. Wolf (HR Manager) to get started. After filling out new hire forms, I got text messages from Chris Cook to install Cash App and enable Bitcoin trading. This was a huge red flag and no proper new hire walkthrough was happening. Before I continued I looked up Chris Cook RCH and found this article. Please block and report these [censored], this is a huge scam that they running. Unfortunately I gave my social and id and address since those are requirements for new job hires.

I was hired through LinkedIn, and they also did the same chat interview with me, and then I received a text from their accounting department from Mark, and he said I will have to go through training, and they will be sending me laptop and other necessary items. He said, you will get paid for training, but they need Cashapp account as their company as some issues with transferring direct deposit. This was the first red-flag. I have worker for smaller to larger companies including major banks. And no legit employer will ask you for cashApp. I said, I do not have cashapp and I will only prefer direct deposit. They asked me for my checking account details, to make sure my account is working properly.I provided, my Driver’s license, social and they must have taken my pictures during that assessment as it captures your photos. Anyways, the he came back next day, and asked me that they can not deposit anything to my bank as they were not able to verify it. Another red flag. He said his boss asked him to send a picture of my checkbook? I was like WHAT? Right away I denied and stopped all the communication, reported them to linkedin. And I think we should all report this loser [censored]s to FBI. Bunch of losers, I cannot believe I will be scammed like that on LinkedIn.

I applied to RCH Mercury Investment via Indeed. Within a few days, I received an email for an interview invitation. This was a chat interview. Then they sent me a 45-minute assessment test, which I completed, followed by another interview. I got hired as a personal assistant. I received texts from "Chris Cook" +1(213)377-0238. My first "training" was to "execute cash movements to a broker". Hence, they sent me a $5,000 check, that they stated I would deposit, then withdraw $2,000 to ship to a "broker". This address was 154 Carlton Ave Piscataway, NJ 08854. When I arrived at FedEx, to try and ship the $2,000 worth of cash, they informed me that this transaction sounded fraudulent. I immediately went to my bank the next day, gave them the cash, and waiting a few days to see if the check was going to bounce back, as to which, it did. Even though I made it apparent I was catching them red-handed, they still went along, and stated that I needed to follow with my training, and I was "under investigation for misuse of funds". Thankfully I trusted my gut, and did not ship this money; however, my biggest mistake was that I also gave them my social, and ID, and address when I was filling out my application and gave it to them when I got hired since that is what every job requires you to do.

Got the same information that you did. Unfortunately my same mistake is that I gave them my social, id and address... This is horrible that LinkedIn & Indeed didn't vet this correctly.
