The scammers contacted by email of a job offer. The hourly salary was for 35.37 an hour. I did the initial to good to be true contact using The Signal application as requested. The person contacted of course indicated I would get an offer letter. The person by name was a Mr. Mark using a phone number 385-324-3011 and a code LEP-009. After an offer letter was sent, I was unable to return the signed letter due to domain name error (should have been clue two). After more conversation I was sent a PDF check to deposit. I did deposit this check and I was told to purchase 3 Amex gift cards for 500.00 each. I hesitated doing this as the check had not cleared my bank. After the hold had expired the check sent to me was on a bank that did not exist. Please beware of these job offers and if you are directed to purchase computer equipment using gift cards.

I received an email regarding employment. There is no website or phone number. They request you download an app. I did not! Here's the email-

Our hiring staff determined that you meet the requirements for the position after evaluating your CV.

The beginning hourly rate for this position is $35.57. There are both full-time and part-time opportunities available; hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Depending on your choices, the pay period will either be weekly or bimonthly.

Currently open positions include those for an administrative assistant/data entry, customer service/payroll assistant, office assistant/call center, and recruiter/project manager.

Prior to contacting Mr. Mark Bretton, one of the recruitment supervisors, via the Signal app, you must first sign up and download the Signal Messenger program (on your phone or computer) from https://www.signal.org/download/. The COV-19 virus epidemic prevents all other internet activities from being performed from homes or any other location except for this one. NOTICE: To reach the interview manager, Mr. Mark Bretton, open Signal Messenger, select New Conversation/New Group, and then type in 385-324-3011. In this case, immediate action is necessary. Your bill has the barcode (LEP-006).

After taking the required steps, we are now expecting your response. If you require support or run into any problems, you are to send a message back to this email and we will get respond back as swift as we can. We also sincerely care about your professional growth, so we will be paying for your training. I need a reply as soon as feasible.
